Drunken guy gets caught in ‘sketchy’ cafe with unlicensed airgun

We thankfully don’t get many gun headlines here in Bali and when we do they’re more local news anecdotes that seem pretty innocuous like this one.

Last night Balinese writer Gede Arya, 34, was secured by police after he got drunk in a “sketchy” cafe and carried around an air gun without a permit, reported Tribun Bali. The gun Arya reportedly carried into the Gilimanuk Village cafe was KWC brand, made in Taiwan.

Police responded to calls from people unsettled by Arya, who appeared to be drunk, said Gilimanuk police chief commissioner Nyoman Wirya Sucipta to Tribun Bali.

Apparently Jembrana was a happening place yesterday, also with the falling tree that caused a 1 kilometer long traffic jam
