Car hits Bali temple, now stuck

A green BMW lays stuck in the side of a holy Bali temple.

The car allegedly crashed into the side of Pura Beji temple in Buleleng at 3 am this morning but still hasn’t been removed from the site, reported Tribun Bali.

The accident reportedly happened when the car was moving from Kuta towards Denpasar at a high speed. Approaching a corner, the driver lost control and the car flew into the temple, said Denpasar Police Commissioner I Nyoman Nuryana. It will take some real towing to free the car, or rather free the temple from the intruding car.

Fortunately, there were no casualties from the accident, just minor injuries suffered by three passengers. One of which was the driver, Sugiri, 37, a resident of Kudus, Central Java, and the other two remain unidentified.
