20-year-old girl reported missing after being duped by a man on Facebook

A 20-year-old girl from Buleleng, Kadek Anggriani, has been missing since June 9, Tribun Bali reported.

Anggriani’s disappearance is suspected to be related to a man she recently met on Facebook who asked her to enter into a business with him three months after they became acquainted, before asking her to hand over IR 15-million. 

Anggriani supposedly realized that she was duped and came complaining to her siblings that this man had ran away with her money. However, she was reportedly determined to get her money back and exchanged mobile numbers with this man over Facebook.
 
The two purportedly arranged to meet each other. Her older sibling told Tribun Bali that her family urged her not to meet him alone. However, it was suspected that she went ahead and met him anyway.
 
Police told Tribun Bali that they will attend to the investigation.
