A Canadian citizen was found dead in a Kuta hotel room on Thursday.
The foreigner was identified by initials MPH and was reportedly sent from Hotel Simpang Inn Legian, Kuta to the morgue at Sanglah Hospital, Denpasar around 4:40 pm.
“We’ve done an autopsy on request by the police at 5:20 pm,” head of Sanglah’s forensics team, Dr. Ida Bagus Putu Alit told Tribun Bali on Friday.
“There were no other injuries, only a rope wound on the neck, corresponding to a rope wound where the deceased hanged himself,” Alit said.
