The guitarist of the band Geisha was arrested at the Denpasar Aston Hotel on Thursday for drug possession after a Go-Jek courier voiced suspicions.

This is the second time Indonesian musician Roby Satria, 29, has been entangled in a drug case, reports Kompas.

Badung Police Chief Tony Binsar confirmed Satria’s arrest on Sunday.

“The courier was ordered by RS (Roby Satria) to deliver the goods to send to the person concerned and wait at the Aston Hotel lobby,” Binsar said on Sunday, as quoted by Kompas.

But the Go-Jek courier apparently got a bad vibe about the order and got the authorities involved.

“Because of suspicions, the courier reported it to the North Kuta Police. Finally the officers with the courier went to the hotel for the handover of the goods from the courier,” Sinar explained.

After Satria was arrested, he reportedly admitted to sending 1.46 grams of dried marijuana with the courier.

According to reports, Satria is hoping for rehab so he can be submitted for treatment rather than be handled as a criminal. Kompas reports that we will find out on Tuesday if the Provincial Narcotics Board (BNP) will categorize him as a drug user who needs rehab.
