Bali rival gangs involved in clash hand over hundreds of weapons to police

As a cooperative gesture, the two gangs that violently brawled in and around Kerobokan Prison last week have handed over hundreds of weapons to Denpasar Police.

Laskar Bali and Baladika reportedly surrendered the weapons earlier today, after the deadly clash on Thursday in the prison and Jl. Teuku Umar left four dead. A police raid of the prison had revealed hundreds of arrows, machetes, and spears hidden in the facility, so just imagine how many more weapons the gangs had on the outside—not that they would actually give up all they really have!

Denpasar Police Chief Anak Agung Made Sudana says an agreement between Laskar and Baladika ensures that this sort of incident will not happen again, according to Sindo News

“Let’s make Bali safe, peaceful, and prosperous,” Sudana pleaded.
