Used condoms, underwear, picked up by Sanur beach clean-up crew

There’s so much talk of Bali’s beaches being plagued by plastic, but people doing a beach clean-up in Sanur reported of finding a more “durable” material on the beach.

Seems like a group of environmental do-gooders may have unwittingly stumbled across a favorite pacaran spot, for young couples seeking to spend some private time away from prying parents’ eyes.

Condoms have been found not infrequently by community group Green Team Sanur when picking up trash around South Denpasar, according to Tribun Bali

Women’s underwear were also another popular item found strewn on the beach.

“There were some findings in the trash which I personally thought were phenomenal. Such as condoms. Often times there were used condoms found dumped near the bushes on the west coast, together with lingerie. In addition, I’ve also found animal carcasses, such as a lamb,” Asri, a member of Green Team Sanur told Tribun Bali

With all this excitement going down on the beach, maybe Sanur doesn’t deserve to be called “Snore” after all.
