Bali’s Ngurah Rai is making preparations for the annual “mudik madness” when thousands of Muslims make their way back to their hometowns from Bali to mark Idul Fitri, the end of Ramadan.

Idul Fitri is set to fall on July 6 and 7 this year, but we won’t know the exact dates until closer to.

The airport’s General Manager Trikora Harjo says at least 150 flights have been added to date for Eid 2016.

“Until now, that’s what’s been submitted to us,” Harjo told Tribun Bali on Tuesday.

Domestic-operating airlines Garuda Indonesia, Citilink, AirAsia, and Sriwijaya Air will be working over-time to transport all these people.
