Powder allegedly found on Aussie at Bali’s Skygarden isn’t drugs: Report

In a turn of events, Australian media is reporting that the white powder allegedly found in a Perth teen’s bag at Kuta nightclub Skygarden has been tested and is not drugs.

Bali police sources have said that the white powder is most likely paracetamol, according to News Corp Australia

No official statement has been made yet by police, but the Australian news network writes that two police sources have confirmed the negative test results to them.

Sources have also confirmed that blood and urine tests for the Aussie in police custody, 18-year-old Jamie Murphy, have also come back negative for drugs.

Kuta Police Chief Wayan Sumara  has not, however, confirmed the results and says he’s waiting ont he official report from the police lab.

“I cannot give any explanation before I get the official report from the forensic laboratory. We are still waiting for the report,” Sumara told News Corp.

Murphy was arrested at Skygarden on Tuesday morning when security stopped him from entering, allegedly pulling a bag of white powder from his bumbag. Footage of the teen’s arrest sparked outrage amongst his friend, who insisted drug possession would be out of character for Murphy and that the video made it seem like he was set up.
