UPDATE Man electrocuted on Bali billboard burned on over 50 percent of body: hospital
A young man was apparently electrocuted on top of a billboard in Semarpura, Bali on Monday.
Amateur footage shows the man, identified in reports as Haryo Winoto, precariously wriggling on the edge of the billboard.
Attempts to evacuate Winoto were reportedly met with struggle from Klungkung area emergency responders and officers from the state electricity company, PLN.
After about 45 minutes, Winoto was brought down. He reportedly has a burn wound on his chest.
“We are still asking for more information from witnesses associated with this incident,” Tribun Bali quoted Klungkung Police’s Criminal Unit Chief Wiastu Andri Prajitno, as saying.
