Malaysian Fukushima photographer shoots proposal video on world’s highest bridge before officially popping the question in Bali

You could say that Malaysian photographer Keow Wee Loong is not one for subtlety.

Keow earned internet infamy earlier this year when he posted photos of what he claimed were of the exclusion zones in Fukushima, Japan, depicting the nuclear disaster’s aftermath. However, the veracity of his claims that he snuck past authorities were later put under fire and his photos were said to be a desperate ploy at publicity.

Well stunts seem to be his thing.

The Malaysian has just proposed in a very bold way.

Keow got up on top of the Beipanjiang Bridge in southwestern China to hold up a “Will you marry me?” sign.

At 565 meters, the bridge is expected to be the world’s tallest upon its imminent completion.

But the publicity-seeker’s proposal didn’t end there.

Keow brought his then girlfriend, now fiancée, Polish woman Marta Sibielak to Bali, where he showed her the video and officially popped the question and gave her the ring.

A post on Keow’s Facebook page shows the pair in Bali, with eagerly exclaiming she said ‘yes’ and that “Polish girls are awesome !!!”
