Animal Face-Off: Bali ‘Snake Man’ takes us through what happens when wildcat, python, and king cobra get together

Bali’s household “snake man” Peter Nicholson put together a post on Facebook last night of an unforgettable wildlife encounter that will get you thinking about natural selection and the food chain.

Nicholson, well known in Bali for playing with slithery reptiles that have most of us beyond afraid is said to be the guy to call if you want a snake removed safely and nonviolently from your living space and/or if you would like to learn more about the island’s snakes.

One of his most recent posts that involves a story and photos to go with, tells the harrowing tale of what happens when wildcat meets python meets king cobra. Think you can guess the ending? As he titled the album: There can only be one.

Here goes Nicholson’s visual storytelling:

At first, this one just looked like a really long snake to us. Look closer!

This one scored a verbal reaction out of Coconuts Bali: whoa!
