BNN recommends guitarist from ‘Geisha’ go to rehab after caught sending pot via Go-jek

Giving Roby Satria exactly what he said wants, the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) reportedly recommended the guitarist for the band Geisha be sent to rehab.

Satria was arrested on Thursday for drug possession at the Denpasar Aston Hotel when a Go-Jek courier voiced suspicions to the police about a package. Police reportedly intercepted the package and Satria confessed to having 1.46 grams of dried marijuana.

Before this current mess, Satria was arrested at his home in South Jakarta in Oct. 2013 for 0.589 grams of marijuana and was ultimately sentenced to a year behind bars.

Now BNN is saying Satria should take the rehab route this time after a urine test not so surprisingly came up positive for drugs.

“The results show Roby is an active user,” Putu B Suastawa, head of BNN Bali Province told Tribun Bali on Monday.

Though Suastawa did add that legal proceedings against the Pekanbaru native will continue to run as Satria starts his rehabilitation.

Suastawa declined to reveal which clinic Satria will undergo rehab at, but he did insist that the clinic is in Bali.
